Gary Kelley

One of San Diego'shighest rated and recommended DJs.

I’m the first to know how very important it is to have the best DJ to make or break a party. And…I wouldn’t and couldn’t think of anyone who fits the description of the best DJ in town other than you. We had an absolutely wonderful time and as you saw everyone was dancing and having a blast!

Again, thank you for making our evening a success. You are the best and we now consider you a dear friend!

Thank you.

About the DJ

As one of the top 5% of Wedding DJs in America for the last 5 years I combine my love for people and music to make your wedding or event special.  I’m a bit of a DJ, emcee and coordinator all rolled into one. I’ve been the stage announcer for artists like Robin Williams, Adam Sandler, The Doobie Brothers, Van Halen to The Rolling Stones while a radio personality in San Diego. I feel there is really no substitute for experience and I have a decent amount with thousands in my portfolio.   I’ve been blessed with my broadcasting background and wedding awards, however my goal is to connect with you and your guests on the dance floor. I keep you on track and keep the evening flowing smoothly from your first dance to the throwing of your bouquet. My experience helps me to read the crowd and connect with your guests by playing a little bit of music for everyone from the bridal party to your grandparents. Yes experience does a make a difference for one of the most important days in your life.

Gary was our DJ for our wedding last week, and we could not be happier with that choice. He was recommended by our photographer and coordinator, and he was a perfect match for our sensibilities. My goal was “elegant and fun” and Gary brought a very professional, broadcast emcee quality to the event without creating any sense of the event being stuffy or too formal.

He provided sound for the ceremony, as well as DJing the reception, and his music choices kept everyone moving all night. He easily mixed older stuff (Motown, Beatles) with more current music, so there truly was something for everyone. He has been doing this for a long time, and it shows in how comfortable he is in adapting his approach to fit the audience and event.

He also shot some video of the highlights with his iPhone to compile into a montage that he sent within a couple of days. It was so nice to have that so quickly to relieve the magic of the day! Also, my videographer had a couple of small technical glitches, and he was so generous to share the raw footage for her to fill in the gaps.

I can’t say enough about how great Gary was to work with!! I would happily recommend him for any event to add that professional but still entertaining touch!
